About

Last year, a group of girls from Marshall Fundamental went to the Girls Build LA Summit in May. We were inspired by the winning teams to found the Girls Build Los Angeles Club at Marshall. We hope to bring change to Pasadena and the Los Angeles area and to continue participating in the program to improve our school and community.

We are a diverse group of girls, all students at Marshall. We are a mix of middle and high schoolers. We are united in our desire and motivation to promote prevention, intervention, and awareness when it comes to mental health issues.

We want to create a safer school environment, increase mental health consciousness in our community, and implement peer mentorship programs. Together, we can #StoptheStigma!
